Busy Bags #2

I "made" two more busy bags this weekend.  I use the term made loosely because I really just put some stuff into two one gallon ziploc bags.

Bag 1 has a bubbles set that I picked up somewhere.  It's got a small jar of bubbles and a bunch of wands with it.  Since Babygirl loves bubbles I see this one coming in handy while were are out and about the next few months.

Bag 2 has some mini books in it.  This is one that Babygirl can use independently.  Babygirl loves looking at her books.  This will work in the car or if we get stuck waiting for something.

Busy Bag #1

I was looking to put together some activities to keep in the car for Babygirl. Since we usually spend one weekend a month traveling to see family I figured they might come in handy in case when we hit traffic. While doing some research I came across these two blogs with loads of activities for toddlers: Second Story Window and PlayCreateExplore.  Loving them both. Over the next few weeks I will be making up some of the Busy Bags from these two sites.

Off to the dollar store I went. Here's the first bag (Idea from Second Story Window):
One half a pool noodle and some nylon rope. A great activity to practice "stringing beads". I could probably get three to four activity bags from these two items. However I chose to make one and put the extra material into the craft pile that I've started accumulating for Babygirl.
