A Year of Projects Sunday Update #3
I've been a slacker this week! The weather was HOT! HOT! HOT! By the time I put Babgygirl to bed I was done, just watched some TV until I passed out.
The only thing I worked on this week was Babygirl's sweater. Here's the most current photo:
I've decided to make the sleeves a bit longer than the pattern calls for, so I'll have to do sleeve one over. If I have enough yarn left I may make a hat to go with the sweater. Anyone have a children's hat pattern to recommend?

I could not see the photo BUT I know when its that hot out - its exhausting and the last thing I want to do is pull a wooly project into my lap. Working on the "beast-ghan" this summer has been a challenge for that very reason.
ReplyDeleteSorry Cris, I went away for the weekend and scheduled the post. For whatever reason the picture didn't publish.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking sweater. I'm going to do the rib a roni on ravelry one will be for my daugher in pink so I think it will work just fine in girl colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Just checked out the rib a roni and added it to my list.
DeleteIn that pic the red looks like my favorite kind of red..just straight red..
ReplyDeleteI think little girl would look lovely in this with a beret..
It's actually a tangerine, just can't seem to get the lighting right when I take the photos.
DeleteThat's a lovely colour for a little girls jumper, plus you'll be able to pick her out in a crowded place.
ReplyDeleteThat's an added bonus! I didn't even think of that because she's just started walking so she's usually in her stroller when we go out.
DeleteBeautiful color. Can't wait to see it all put together.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's finally finished!
DeleteVery cute sweater, and I know what you mean about the heat!
ReplyDeleteThanks! The heat is just too much this year!
